Shellfish Hatchery

SeaGen Aquaculture offers commercial oyster, mussel and scallop hatchery services to farmers located around Australia. We specialize in Sydney Rock Oysters, Angasi Oysters and Blue Mussels.

We can also produce Commercial Scallops, Doughboy Scallops and a range of other bivalves.

Our shellfish hatchery has a quarantine facility and can receive broodstock from interstate. We have different screen sizes available for oysters and can produce mussel spat on rope or as larvae to suit.
